WEEK ONE
March 31st - Monday - First meeting of the term. Plan for Science Circus Show in Portland and discuss term events.
April 2nd - Wednesday - Science Circus Rehearsal for all members participating in the Portland trip. 5 pm, Wil 100.
April 4th-5th - Friday and Saturday - Portland Science Circus Show. Leave UO at 3pm Friday. Set up Friday evening.
Show Saturday morning, pack up, and get a behind-the-scenes tour of OMSI. Drive home.
WEEK THREE
April 14th - Monday - SPS Meeting at 5pm in room 112 Willamette. Speaker: Grad student, Dashiell Vitullo. Refreshments served.
April 17th - CANCELLED - Thursday - UO Physics Undergraduate Poster Session in the Atrium. See Dean Livelybrooks for more info.
- Thursday - 5 pm. Physics Demo show rehearsal for Friday's show. Meet in demo room.
April 18th - Friday - Physics Dept Open House for high school students. SPS Physics Demo show at 11 am. Need help with setup before hand.
WEEK FIVE
April 28th - Monday - SPS Meeting at 5pm in room 112 Willamette. Speaker: Heiner Linke. Refreshments served.
May 1st - Thursday - 5th grade outreach with Dean. Need volunteers for the two shifts: 8:30 - 11:20 and 12:00 - 2:45.
May 2nd - Friday - Wanton Mechanics Physics Dept. Gathering. Agate Hall. SPS hopes to perform some sort of skit or show
for this event as a way of establishing our group among the faculty.
May 3rd - Saturday - OSU Wave Research Lab Tour. Details TBA.
WEEK SEVEN
May 12th - Monday - SPS Meeting. Lori Lokey Lab tour with John Donovan. Meet in room 112 Willamette at 4:45. We'll walk over at 5.
WEEK NINE
May 26th - End of the year SPS gathering. Picnic? A showing of the Science Circus 2008 video.
